We are currently experiencing an issue affecting the primary backhaul route for Octotel customer on the Strand node. Affected areas include Heldervue, Somerset West, and the surrounding areas.
Traffic has been routed via a secondary path to keep services online. While connectivity remains available, you may experience slower speeds or degraded performance until the primary route is restored.
Octotel Technicians have identified a fibre break on the primary path. Technicians are currently preparing to float new cable to complete permanent repairs.
